An audit of your current curriculum and music provision using data provided by you. Provision is mapped against the National Curriculum and Model Music Curriculum. Gaps are highlighted in an action plan with suggested ways to address them. Personal feedback given to Headteacher and or music co-ordinator. This constitutes one days work but may be split into smaller sessions.
This package includes everything in package 1 plus a whole staff meeting either in person if local or via zoom on the New Model Music Curriculum
Package 3 uses a carefully constructed survey of staff to audit their knowledge and skills in delivering the music curriculum. Within the framework of the Teachers' standards, the process uses knowledge and skills highlighted in the National Curriculum and the Model Music Curriculum. An analysis of the results is provided to SLT and staff will then have access to one webinar from a broad range that meets their CPD needs.
Package 4 is designing a whole school curriculum. Having assessed the school's needs and the broader curriculum it provides, the curriculum will provide the schools' interpretation of the Model music Curriculum for its context and reflecting its values and aims. Each section of the curriculum, which is broken up termly into year groups 1-6,will have suggested resources to use, many of which are free at point of use, but some may require a one off purchase .
